KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Cashier, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating the cash register and processing transactions
- Handling cash, debit, and credit payments accurately
- Greeting and assisting customers in a professional manner
- Suggestive selling and upselling products
- Stocking shelves and keeping the counter area clean
- Providing efficient and friendly customer service
- Supporting daily operations as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education – No formal qualifications required; on-the-job training provided
- Experience – Previous customer service or cashier experience preferred (not essential)
- Technical Skills – Ability to use electronic cash register, Interac machine, and POS systems
- Certifications – None required
- Languages – English
- Friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
- Team player with good communication skills
