Responsibilities
- Read and interpret production plans, assembly drawings, and welding blueprints
- Fit, weld, and assemble parts according to specifications
- Perform welding on carbon steel components
- Assemble parts using measuring tools such as tape measures, levels, templates, and t-squares
- Modify or repair parts as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Restock and replace welding equipment and materials (wire, gas tanks, etc.)
- Assist other departments as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Welding Certification (required)
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to support other departments when needed
