Key Responsibilities
As a Plumber, your duties will include:
- Installing domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing layouts
- Determining piping system requirements and pipe sizing
- Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required specifications
- Joining pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
- Locating and marking pipe connections, passage holes, and fixture placements
- Testing pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Estimating costs, materials, and preparing tenders and quotations
- Scheduling personnel, tools, and equipment
- Supervising and instructing apprentices and other workers (3–4 people)
- Ensuring work is completed safely and according to code requirements

Experience & Specialization
To qualify for teh job you will be needing the following:

- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a plumber

- College or CEGEP diploma
