This casual role, with potential for part-time permanent hours, focuses on providing person-centred care to clients in their own homes across the East and North East Coast of Tasmania. Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care to clients in their homes
- Support clients with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility
- Assist clients with domestic tasks and meal preparation
- Monitor and report client health and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
- Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols
- Travel to client homes across the East and North East Coast as required
Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Previous experience in home support, personal care, or similar role preferred
- Current National Police Check
- Flu vaccination required; COVID vaccination preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage flexible schedules
- Residing on the East Coast or willing to travel
