Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and oversee civil engineering construction projects
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Determine construction methods, materials, and quality standards
  • Coordinate site labour, materials, and equipment delivery
  • Prepare sketches, plans, and engineering designs
  • Estimate material costs and monitor project budgets
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure all work complies with regulations and contract requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant construction industry experience
  • Strong understanding of civil construction methods and processes
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Good knowledge of safety and quality standards
  • Full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence preferred
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
