About The Company

Good Life at Home operates several Adult Family Group Homes designed to provide compassionate, professional care for residents with diverse needs. Our residents include individuals with advanced aging conditions, irreversible dementia or Alzheimer’s, developmental disabilities, emotional or mental illness, terminal illness, and traumatic brain injury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance for residents requiring 24-hour oversight.
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Administer or assist with medication as directed.
  • Monitor residents’ health, behavior, and wellbeing, reporting any changes promptly.
  • Provide assistance during mealtimes and encourage healthy dining habits.
  • Promote resident social engagement and participation in planned activities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance with state laws, facility policies, and safety regulations.
  • Foster a compassionate and respectful environment that upholds residents’ rights and independence.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Must pass a drug test, criminal background check, and Communicable Disease/TB Test.
  • Current annual physical required.
  • Professional references must be provided.
  • Flexible availability, including at least 2 out of 3 scheduled shifts and one weekend day per week.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and reliability.
