Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Assist with daily living tasks and personal care as required
- Support domestic assistance, including light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with care plans
- Assist with transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings
- Build respectful, trusting, and positive relationships with clients and families
- Follow individual care plans and company policies
- Maintain client dignity, privacy, and independence at all times
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and caring personality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must own a smartphone and be able to use mobile applications
- Valid New Zealand Full Driver’s Licence
- Own reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Ability to work flexible hours, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
