Responsibilities
As a Dovida Caregiver, your duties will include:
- Providing personal care and hygiene support
- Assisting with domestic tasks like cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Providing transportation to appointments, shopping, and social outings
- Supporting medication reminders and wellness checks
- Maintaining respectful and trusting relationships with clients and their families
Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
- Have relevant experience in caregiving or hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (or similar)
- Be based in or near Port Macquarie and willing to travel 30–40 minutes locally
- Hold a valid Australian open driver’s license
- Own a reliable, insured vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Be eligible to work in Australia with no work restrictions
- Be available Monday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Friday, with flexibility for up to 15+ hours per week
