Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care assistance with daily living activities while treating residents with dignity and respect
- Support residents with mobility in accordance with individual care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely healthcare documentation
- Encourage and assist residents to participate in social and recreational activities
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families
- Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and homely environment for residents, visitors, and team members
- Work under the guidance and supervision of qualified nursing staff and management
Requirements
- NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2–4 (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in aged care (preferred)
- Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand
- Willingness to work rotating rosters, including weekends and shift work
- Commitment to delivering person-first, high-quality care

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Ability to follow care plans and organisational procedures
