Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents in accordance with individual care plans
- Assist residents with hygiene tasks such as showering, grooming, and dressing
- Support residents during mealtimes, including meal delivery and assistance as required
- Encourage participation in physical and recreational activities such as walks, puzzles, and table tennis
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for residents
- Work collaboratively with the caregiving team across morning, afternoon, and night shifts
- Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare staff
Requirements
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar caregiving role
- Ability to work on a rotational roster (4 days on, 2 days off) including weekend and night shifts
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and supportive attitude toward elderly residents
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care and teamwork
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to varied caregiving duties
