Key Responsibilities
Caregivers deliver a variety of non-medical services across five major categories:
1. Companionship Care
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and emotional support
- Assist with planning daily routines and activities
- Provide friendly companionship to reduce loneliness
2. Home Duties Care
- Prepare nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Assist with grocery shopping and running errands
- Help with writing letters, organizing documents, and simple household tasks
3. Personal Care
- Assist with bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming
- Provide medication reminders (non-medical)
- Support clients with safe mobility and exercise routines
4. Special Care
- Provide tailored support for seniors with disabilities
- Assist clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia through patient, structured care
- Provide live-in support when required
- Offer compassionate end-of-life care support
5. Transportation Care
- Accompany clients to doctor appointments
- Pick up prescriptions
- Assist with general shopping and special outings
- Ensure safe and reliable transportation
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, home support, or elderly care preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and respectful care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and daily activities
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism
- Flexibility to work different shifts depending on client needs
