Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects
- Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, cost estimates, and schedules
- Utilize engineering and design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and site data to assess soil, terrain, hydrology, and geological conditions
- Support site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and erosion control designs
- Recommend innovative approaches to improve efficiency and project outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project assignments
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- EIT certification or registration for the FE exam (preferred)
- Availability to work Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong civil engineering fundamentals
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software
- Knowledge of site/civil design principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and sound judgment
