Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas
- Use appropriate cleaning products, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively
- Carry out basic facilities maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and fixtures are in proper working condition
- Safely lift and transport cleaning supplies and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Follow cleaning schedules to complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks on time
- Communicate effectively with team members and respond to client requests or concerns
- Follow all safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ensure all work areas meet cleanliness and safety standards
Requirements
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is an asset
- Reliable transportation may be required depending on assignment
