Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties in school buildings, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper use of cleaning materials.
- Follow directions from the Senior Custodian and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Ensure all cleaning duties are performed according to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with additional custodial tasks as required.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions.
- Ability to read and write.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work evening shifts as scheduled.
