This is a permanent, part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, and values contributing to the local community. No two days are the same – your work will make a real, visible difference across public spaces in one of New Zealand’s most scenic towns.

Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Collecting and disposing of rubbish from public areas
  • Cleaning public amenities such as barbecues, bus stops, and public bathrooms
  • General outdoor cleaning and maintenance duties
  • Following cleaning schedules and reporting any maintenance issues
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and on time

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full, clean driver’s licence (manual vehicle capability required)
  • The ability and willingness to work early morning shifts on a rostered basis
  • Good level of physical fitness and a readiness to work in outdoor conditions
  • Commitment to health and safety procedures and company standards
  • To pass a pre-employment drug test in line with our Drug & Alcohol Policy
  • Previous cleaning or maintenance experience (preferred but not essential)

  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow schedules or instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
