Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles up to 26’ in length, including flatbeds, cube vans, boom trucks, and moffett-equipped trucks
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Deliver building materials to job sites in a timely manner
- Inspect, secure, and verify loads before departure and during delivery
- Unload materials according to customer instructions while providing professional customer service
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as trained
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all state, local, and federal driving regulations
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
- Use proper lifting techniques and wear required PPE, including safety shoes and clothing
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and vehicle
Teamwork & Communication
- Communicate delivery issues, safety concerns, and improvement ideas to management
- Collaborate with warehouse and delivery team members
- Attend required meetings and participate in company training programs
- Support company values and assist with additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (appropriate class as required)
- Minimum 1 year of consistent commercial driving experience
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull, or carry maerials up to 100 lbs (team lifting when applicable)
- Comfortable with frequent driving, equipment operation, and physical labor
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
