Responsibilities

Delivery & Vehicle Operations

• Safely operate company vehicles up to 26-foot trucks, including flatbeds, cube vans, moffetts, and boom trucks
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Deliver building materials to job sites in a timely and professional manner
• Secure, inspect, and verify loads before departure and upon delivery
• Unload and stage materials according to customer instructions

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all state driving regulations and company safety policies
• Adhere to OSHA requirements and proper lifting techniques
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and vehicle

Teamwork & Communication

• Communicate delivery issues, safety concerns, and improvement ideas to management
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams as needed
• Attend and participate in required meetings and training sessions

Physical & Operational Support

• Operate forklifts and delivery equipment as trained
• Assist in other operational areas as required
• Support FBM’s values of safety, teamwork, integrity, and customer focus

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (appropriate class for assigned vehicle)
• Minimum 1 year of consistent commercial driving experience
• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds (team lifting as needed)
• Comfortable with frequent driving, sitting, lifting, pushing, and pulling
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to attend required training programs
