ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Electrician at ROOP ELECTRIC CO LTD., you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment for a wide variety of projects. From wiring and troubleshooting to preventive maintenance, you’ll be contributing to safe and reliable electrical services in the Lower Mainland–Southwest region.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Vancouver, BC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Electrician, your duties will include:
- Installing underground wiring and cables
- Splicing, joining, and connecting wires
- Designing and constructing low-voltage (30 to 750V) multiphase service systems
- Installing surface mount and/or overhead cables
- Installing power generation and conditioning systems
- Troubleshooting and isolating faults
- Conducting preventive maintenance programs
- Keeping detailed maintenance reports and documentation
- Renovating electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
- Estimating costs and materials
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
- Instructing apprentices

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in electrical work (asset, but training may be provided)
- No specific degree, certificate, or diploma required
