ABOUT THE ROLE
CJB Electrical has full-time, permanent positions available for qualified Electricians to support repair, maintenance, and project work across Southeast Queensland.
Electrician – Multiple Positions
You will join our operations team working in hotels, taverns, commercial sites, and new builds. These roles suit individuals with strong problem-solving skills who can work safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to clients’ daily operations.
All roles offer full-time hours, company vehicle, uniform, and long-term employment opportunities for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Depending on daily needs, duties may include:
- Commercial renovations, additions, and upgrades
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Electrical repairs and maintenance
- New construction work
- General compliance and safety checks
- Upgrading switchboards and electrical systems
- Leading small teams on minor projects (if required)
- Working efficiently with minimal impact on client operations
- Ensuring safe work practices and adherence to regulations

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
You’ll work with:
- Electrical tools and testing equipment
- Ladders, EWP (where required)
- Switchboard components and installation tools
- PPE and safety gear provided
Work conditions include:
- Fast-paced commercial environments
- Indoor and outdoor work depending on job site
- Occasional work away from home
- Participation in an on-call roster
- Standing, bending, and physical activity during installations
REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this job, you must possess the following:
Education & Experience
- Current QLD Electrical Work Licence
- Proven experience as an Electrician
- EWP licence preferred (not essential)
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to commit to occasional away work and the on-call roster

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Team-focused mindset
- Good communication and judgement
- Ability to supervise small teams when required
- Strong safety awareness
