JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Executive Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading daily operations of the Housekeeping Department
- Performing thorough inspections of guest suites and public areas
- Overseeing an efficient on-site laundry operation
- Recruiting, training, and mentoring housekeeping staff
- Managing chemical registers and ensuring health & safety compliance
- Monitoring inventory, placing orders, and managing supplies
- Preparing and managing department forecasts and budgets
- Creating rosters and maintaining labour controls
- Collaborating with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Experience: Have at least 3 years’ experience in a senior Housekeeping or Hospitality role
- Qualifications: Possess relevant tertiary qualifications
- Leadership skills: Have proven leadership skills and experience building effective teams
- Financial Skills: Show financial acumen, including forecasting and budgeting
Additionally the ideal candidates should be confident when using the hospitality management systems, have a strong work ethic and be able to pay attention to details. The ideal candidate should also be passionate about service and hospitality industry and be able to work efficiently in a dynamic and fast pace work environment.
