KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Farmhand, you will:
- Assist with animal husbandry, including calving, lambing, feeding, and preparing cattle for shows.
- Support practical learning classes for students in farm-related and outdoor activities.
- Contribute to vineyard operations — pruning, harvesting, and seasonal maintenance.
- Carry out environmental management tasks such as fencing, weed control, and pasture improvement.
- Operate farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support the broader Timbertop outdoor and academic programs where required.
- Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and communication across all farm tasks.

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
You’ll work with and around:
- Farm machinery and agricultural tools
- Livestock handling equipment

REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this role, you must have:
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in farming or animal husbandry.
- Experience with livestock care and general farm operations.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Ability to operate farm machinery and equipment confidently.
- Farm Chemical User Accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
- Solid computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
- Strong practical problem-solving abilities.
