Key Responsibilities
As a Farm Supervisor, your duties will include:
- Coordinating and supervising general farm workers and harvesting labourers
- Monitoring animal health and treating livestock health issues
- Directing farm feed inventory activities
- Maintaining livestock performance, production, and quality control records
- Ensuring farm safety, bio-security, and sustainable farming practices are followed
- Implementing soil fertility and crop rotation programs
- Mixing and applying fertilizers
- Providing crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- Supervising crop-related operations and livestock management activities
- Clearing and collecting brush and debris from fields, pens, and work areas
- Maintaining financial records, work logs, and production data
- Performing general farm duties as required
Supervision:
- 1 to 2 farm workers
