Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the work of farm labourers and machinery operators
- Assist with livestock management, including breeding programs
- Oversee crop production activities such as planting and harvesting
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of farm facilities and equipment
- Monitor animal and crop health and enforce proper care procedures
- Assist in moving products and preparing them for shipment
- Perform tasks such as tree tapping in all weather conditions
- Supervise maintenance of farm infrastructure, tools, and supplies
- Ensure all farm safety procedures are followed
- Perform general farm duties as required
Requirements
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Willing to work evenings and weekends when required
- Not afraid of working with animals
