ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Painter at KV Construction, you’ll play a key role in preparing, repairing, and beautifying interior and exterior surfaces for residential and commercial projects across Edmonton.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Painter with KV Construction, your main duties include:
- Preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces before painting
- Repairing cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections
- Mixing paint to achieve the desired color and texture
- Measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper and fabric coverings
- Advising clients on color selection and wall finishes
- Applying paint, wallpaper, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces
- Estimating materials, costs, and time requirements
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe condition
- Following company safety standards and project timelines

EQUIPMENT & SPECIALIZATION
You may work with or around:
- Brushes, rollers, and spray painting equipment

REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the Painter position, you’ll need:
Education:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant painting experience
Licenses & Certifications:
- Safety or trade-related certifications (asset but not mandatory)
Skills & Qualities:
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Ability to work efficiently in various environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina and comfort working at heights
- Commitment to quality, safety, and deadlines
