KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Painter, you will:
- Prepare surfaces for painting: cleaning, sanding, repairing imperfections, removing old paint, and applying primer.
- Mix and match paint colours to achieve precise, consistent finishes.
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Protect surrounding surfaces with drop sheets, tape, and coverings.
- Maintain a clean, organised worksite before, during, and after each project.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients regarding progress and job requirements.
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
You’ll work with:
- Brushes, rollers, spray guns, ladders, scaffolding
- Sanding tools, fillers, primers, and finishing materials
- Drop cloths, masking tools, PPE, and protective equipment
Work conditions include:
- Indoor and outdoor environments
- Climbing ladders and using scaffolding

REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this role, you must have:
Experience
- Proven painting experience (residential, commercial, or industrial).
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of painting tools, materials, and application techniques.

- Experience with surface preparation and finishing methods.
Professional Qualities
