Responsibilities
- Promote and support jobsite safety in alignment with Balfour Beatty’s Zero Harm® program
- Assist with subcontractor safety orientations, documentation, and weekly safety inspections
- Participate in preconstruction meetings and support development of scopes of work and bid packages
- Help manage document control, including distribution of updated drawings and specifications
- Support planning and scheduling activities, including submittal schedules and material tracking
- Administer RFIs and submittals, ensuring timely coordination and approvals across project teams
- Track subcontractor progress and verify work complies with project plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Maintain as-built drawings and assist with quality control inspections
- Support cost tracking, change management, progress reporting, and project documentation
- Assist with project closeout activities, including manuals, as-builts, owner training, and final turnover
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project coordination
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in construction project management
