Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and associated areas according to hotel hygiene and quality standards
- Change bed linen daily, remove creases, dust furniture, vacuum rooms, and fully clean bathrooms
- Replenish guest amenities, stationery, and VIP gifts as required
- Record all serviced rooms and report rooms that cannot be serviced
- Properly dispose of rubbish and dirty linen following hotel procedures
- Ensure housekeeping materials and equipment are used, stored, and maintained correctly
- Assist Floor Supervisors with guest room flowers, plants, and special setup needs
- Build a respectful and professional rapport with guests and respond promptly to requests or complaints
- Follow key control and signing procedures for assigned keys
- Handle lost and found items in line with hotel policies
- Report maintenance issues, damages, and shortages of linen or supplies immediately
- Assist with stocktaking and special cleaning projects as required
- Follow housekeeping standards for linen care and guest property handling
- Perform additional reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors or hotel management
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience preferred
- Ability to meet luxury hotel cleanliness and service standards
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties throughout shifts
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and attention to detail
