Atlas Structural Systems, a division of J.D. Irving, Limited, is seeking Skilled Labourers to join our production team in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Skilled Labourer at Atlas Structural Systems, you will assist in the manufacturing of pre-engineered structural components for residential and commercial projects. You’ll work with wood, tools, and blueprints to create trusses, panels, and smaller builds while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Lower Sackville, NS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Skilled Labourer, your duties will include:
- Building roof trusses, wall panels, floor panels, and small projects (sheds, bins, etc.)
- Taking accurate measurements and reading blueprints/designs
- Using power tools safely and effectively on a daily basis
- Assembling and securing wooden components to meet specifications
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace
- Supporting production efficiency with attention to quality and detail

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should have:
- A strong safety mindset and willingness to learn
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working in varying temperatures (hot, cold, and variable)
- Experience with power tools (an asset)
- Previous construction or manufacturing experience (an asset)
