JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Transportation Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and organizing daily operations
- Monitoring performance of transportation teams
- Preparing reports for senior management
- Negotiating service contracts and rates
- Supervising a team of 3–4 staff
- Managing budgets and financials
- Ensuring compliance with transport regulations
- Organising shipping documentation and cargo tracking
- Overseeing inventory, fuel consumption, and distance metrics
