ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring Taxi Drivers for immediate start across Canberra, Queanbeyan, and nearby regions. You will be responsible for transporting passengers safely, maintaining excellent customer service, and following assigned routes or GPS navigation.
This position offers flexible hours, full training, and the support of an experienced operations team that understands the taxi industry inside out.
Taxi Driver – Contract/Temp – Immediate Start
You will work within the Canberra region, operating an ACT Cabs taxi vehicle provided fully equipped and maintained by the company. This role is ideal for individuals who hold a full Australian driver licence, enjoy driving, and want a stable income with flexible schedules.

LICENSING & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
To become an ACT Cabs Taxi Driver, applicants must complete the following steps (full guidance provided):
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Check
– Completed via Access Canberra - Medical Check
– Company provides assessment forms and doctor referral - Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
– Complete via ACT Cabs’ online link - Taxi Driver Training
– Provided by ACT Cabs prior to commencing work
Bonus:
Drive 50+ shifts, and ACT Cabs will reimburse 100% of your licence-related expenses.
EXPERIENCE & SPECIALIZATION
