Responsibilities

• Use MIG, TIG, stick, and arc welding techniques to join, fabricate, and repair metal components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and welding symbols
• Cut, align, and assemble metal materials prior to welding
• Fabricate structural components, pipes, beams, and equipment according to specifications
• Inspect welded joints to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Set up and operate welding machines, hand tools, and power tools
• Maintain and perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
• Adhere to all company safety policies, including PPE usage and hazardous materials handling
• Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to meet project deadlines
• Monitor welding processes to prevent defects such as warping, overheating, or shrinkage
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of a technical school welding program
• Valid Welding Certification
• 2–5+ years of welding experience in construction or manufacturing
• Ability to pass a third-party welding test (PNL – Phoenix National Laboratories)
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License with reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various construction site conditions
• Experience working under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Skills

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, stick, and arc welding techniques
• Experience with metal fabrication tools such as grinders, drills, and saws
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Task prioritization and time management
• Professional communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work safely in a construction site environment

Work Environment

• Full-time onsite at North Phoenix, AZ
