Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components using cutting, bending, and shaping equipment.
- Operate workshop machinery including press brakes, guillotines, grinders, drills, and saws.
- Ensure welds meet required quality, strength, and appearance standards.
- Inspect fabricated components and carry out repairs when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) policies and procedures at all times.
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and project deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members or work independently when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Welder/Fabricator (locally or internationally).
- Proven experience in structural welding, workshop fabrication, or site welding.
- Ability to perform welding in multiple positions.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and fabrication processes.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
