Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Cleaner, your daily duties will include:
- General cleaning in and around commercial sites (offices, clinics, shops, restaurants, and other locations)
- Dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and removing smudges from windows and doors
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, and floors
- Emptying trash bins and replacing liners
- Restocking supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels
- Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment
- Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met
- Coordinating with team members to complete cleaning tasks efficiently
- Following all safety and company procedures
- Driving to different work sites using a company vehicle (may involve transporting other team members)
- Performing additional duties as directed by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum Education: High School or equivalent
- Experience: 0–6 months (training can be provided)
- Driver’s License: Full Class 1 New Zealand driver’s license (required)
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks
- Language: Basic reading and writing skills in English
- Availability: Must be available to work Monday to Sunday between 5:00 PM and 1:00 AM (rotating roster)
