Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist customers with general banking inquiries, including:
    • Providing account balances and transaction details
    • Replacing debit or credit cards
    • Updating personal information
    • Resolving online banking issues
    • Investigating transactions, disputes, and fraud inquiries
    • Logging complaints and capturing customer feedback
  • Provide accurate and compliant information following strict identification and verification protocols
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with systems and processes

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service (highly desirable)
  • A strong interest in banking, finance, or customer experience
  • Confident computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic under pressure
  • Minimum qualification: Year 12 (or equivalent)
  • Must have valid Australian work rights and be able to pass background and police checks
