Responsibilitie
- Perform high-precision TIG welding on stainless steel and other metals in accordance with industry standards
- Operate laser welding machines and other stainless-steel department equipment efficiently
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications accurately
- Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment, including voltage and amperage settings
- Inspect welded components to identify defects and ensure quality compliance
- Follow all safety regulations, quality control procedures, and company policies
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers on project requirements and welding methods
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability across various welding applications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or vocational training in welding (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive industries
- Strong knowledge of TIG (GTAW) welding techniques and safety practices
- Experience working with stainless steel materials
- Familiarity with laser welding machines is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Physically fit and capable of handling workshop duties
