ABOUT THE ROLE
Hydro Flo Plumbing and Heating Ltd. is hiring a full-time Apprentice Plumber to support service and installation work across Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Apprentice Plumber – Permanent, Full-Time, Apprenticeship Position
You will assist licensed plumbers, learn essential technical skills, support ongoing service operations, and contribute to successful project completion. This role is ideal for 2nd or 3rd year apprentices who are reliable, motivated, and focused on developing long-term trade expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Depending on daily needs, duties may include:
- Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Assemble plumbing fixtures and system components
- Support construction and renovation plumbing activities
- Gain working knowledge of HVAC systems connected to plumbing
- Perform routine maintenance and basic service tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Continue apprenticeship training toward full certification

REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this job, you should have the following:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- 2 years plumbing experience (required)
- Service experience in residential and commercial settings
- Valid Driving Licence (required)
- 2nd or 3rd year plumbing apprentice
Skills & Qualities
- Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn advanced skills
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong tool-handling skills (hand and power tools)
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
