JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues.
- Inspecting mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Performing repairs or replacements on mechanical units, including brakes, engines, and transmissions.
- Testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Conducting routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Advising customers on work performed and future repair needs.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and workplace regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Manpower Services Canada is seeking Automotive Mechanics who meet the following qualifications:
- Languages: English (basic proficiency required).
- Education: Registered Apprenticeship Certificate.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Work Setting: Garage / Automotive Service.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair.
- Experience in engine repair, brake systems, fuel and emission systems, and automatic transmission.
- Ability to test and adjust mechanical systems to manufacturer specifications.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
