Summerset Whangarei is preparing to open a state-of-the-art care centre within a beautifully established village, set to become a cornerstone of aged care in the region. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with personal care, including hygiene and showering
- Supporting residents during mealtimes and delivering meals
- Following individual care plans, including walks and light exercises
- Encouraging and assisting with recreational and social activities
- Building positive, respectful relationships with residents and team members
- Maintaining a high standard of care in line with Summerset’s values and policies
Requirements
- Experience in aged care or a related care industry (preferred)
- Level 0 to Level 3 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (or working toward one)
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- Ability to work a 4 days on / 2 days off rotating roster
- A caring, empathetic, and patient nature
