Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living assistance to elderly clients and individuals requiring support
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed
- Support clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor clients’ well-being and report any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful care environment
- Follow individualized care plans and company care standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care coordinators
Requirements
- Successful completion of a government-approved Health Care Aide (HCA) program
- Compassionate, gentle, and respectful approach to caregiving
- Ability to provide care with patience, dignity, and professionalism
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
