Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across residents’ rooms and shared areas according to the cleaning schedule
- Ensure public areas are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
- Manage and restock cleaning supplies as required
- Report maintenance issues or hazards to the Household Supervisor
- Follow all Health & Safety policies, including safe chemical handling and storage
- Treat all residents with dignity, respect, and care
- Support the housekeeping team to create a homely and healthy living environment
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferred
- Flexible availability for rotating shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to work early morning shifts (ideal hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm)
- Willingness to perform physical tasks and assist where needed
- Reliable transport or travel arrangements
- Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand
