Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across residents’ rooms and shared areas according to the cleaning schedule
  • Ensure public areas are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
  • Manage and restock cleaning supplies as required
  • Report maintenance issues or hazards to the Household Supervisor
  • Follow all Health & Safety policies, including safe chemical handling and storage
  • Treat all residents with dignity, respect, and care
  • Support the housekeeping team to create a homely and healthy living environment

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferred
  • Flexible availability for rotating shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to work early morning shifts (ideal hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm)
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks and assist where needed
  • Reliable transport or travel arrangements
  • Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand

  • Strong attention to detail
