Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, your duties will include:

  • Cleaning and detailing the interior of buses to a high standard.
  • Vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces in vehicles and premises.
  • Ensuring vehicles are presented immaculately for customer use.
  • Conducting regular cleaning routines and responding to special cleaning needs.
  • Following all health and safety procedures.
  • Working independently or as part of a team to meet daily cleaning targets.

Requirements

  • Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand at the time of application.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks including:
    • Drug testing
    • Ministry of Justice background check
    • Medical assessment
    • Reference checks
    • VCA clearance (required due to nature of the role)
  • Availability for full-time, permanent work.
  • Ability to work evening/night shifts, weekends, or early mornings (if required).
  • Basic English communication skills for understanding instructions and reporting issues.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual work.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Able to work well in a team and also independently.
  • Fast learner with a willingness to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
