Responsibilities for Driver

Driving & Logistics

Operate company vehicles responsibly, strictly following UAE traffic laws.
Transport technicians, tools, and equipment to job sites on schedule.
Plan efficient travel routes using GPS and local knowledge of Dubai.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
Keep detailed records of mileage, fuel usage, and servicing.
Ensure tools and materials are securely loaded and protected in transit.

Technician Support

Assist with loading/unloading of tools and materials.
Provide physical support during on-site maintenance tasks.
Help prepare and clean job sites before and after work.
Follow instructions from technicians to streamline operations.

Handyman & Maintenance Assistance

Minor plumbing tasks (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing washers).
Simple electrical tasks (e.g., changing bulbs, switch cover replacement).
Touch-up painting and plastering.
Assembly and minor carpentry (e.g., shelves, blinds, door handles).
Use basic hand/power tools safely under guidance.

General Duties

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients.
Communicate clearly with supervisors and dispatchers.
Follow company protocols, policies, and safety guidelines.
Support additional tasks at the main office when not assigned to job sites.

Requirements for Driver

Proven driving experience in a commercial or service setting.
Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
Clean driving record.
Practical knowledge of basic maintenance tasks.
Physically fit – must be able to lift up to 25 kg and perform labor-intensive tasks.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic English communication skills (additional languages are a plus).
Reliable, punctual, and solution-oriented.
Familiarity with Dubai’s roads and neighborhoods is an advantage.

Skills and Knowledge Desired:

Extended periods of sitting while driving.
Frequent standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
Regular lifting, pushing, and carrying of tools, equipment, and materials.
