About the Role
As a Fitness Instructor at Radisson Hotel Group, you’ll ensure the smooth daily operations of the Fitness Centre while providing exceptional guidance and support to our guests and members. You’ll design safe, effective, and personalized fitness programs, demonstrate correct exercise techniques, and motivate individuals of all ages to achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities
As a Fitness Instructor at Radisson Hotel Group, you will:
- Maintain Club policies and ensure smooth daily operations of the Fitness Centre
- Design and demonstrate safe, results-oriented fitness programs for individuals
- Instruct proper exercise techniques based on biomechanical and physiological principles
- Help clients define fitness goals and develop short- and long-term schedules
- Supervise safety procedures, warm-up techniques, and monitor gym usage
- Organize and lead engaging activities and games for children and teenagers
- Assess participants’ readiness for exercise and request medical clearance if needed
- Inspect, maintain, and report on gym equipment and conditions
- Record incidents, rescues, and fitness centre usage logs
- Ensure proper signage and reporting when equipment is out of order
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Gym Instructor or Personal Trainer (1–2 years minimum)
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and injury prevention
- Ability to create tailored fitness programs based on individual needs
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Ability to demonstrate exercises and equipment usage effectively
- Understanding of nutrition principles related to fitness and wellness
- Proficiency in using a variety of fitness equipment and machines
