JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Orchard Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops
- Harvesting, picking, and packing fruits and vegetables
- Fertilizing and spraying crops to maintain plant health
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- Examining produce for quality and market readiness
- Working outdoors in diverse conditions including wet, hot, cold, and dusty environments

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
H G Versteegh Orchards Ltd is seeking Orchard Workers who meet the following qualifications:
Languages: English (basic proficiency required)
Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience: Will train candidates who are eager to learn
Skills:
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive and physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working at heights and in wet/damp or dusty environments
- Attention to detail and ability to assess product quality
Crops:
- Apples and other fruit crops
