Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care and daily living support to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist residents with mobility, hygiene, meals, and personal needs while respecting their independence and dignity.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of daily activities and observations.
- Uphold all company health, safety, and infection control policies to ensure a secure environment.
- Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions to continually improve care quality.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience or a Level 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated empathy and compassion for the elderly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Willingness to work across various centers within the Waikato region.
