As a Factory Worker at SJ Fine Foods Ltd., you’ll play a key role in ensuring our food products are prepared, processed, and packaged to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Factory Worker, your main duties will include:

  • Following daily production schedules and supervisor instructions
  • Preparing ingredients according to recipes and company standards
  • Operating food processing and packaging machinery safely and efficiently
  • Monitoring product quality and consistency throughout production
  • Packaging finished goods accurately and efficiently
  • Performing product rework, tying, and hanging items on smoke sticks and cages
  • Assisting machine operators with setup, dismantling, and cleaning
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in work areas at all times
  • Adhering strictly to food safety regulations and company procedures

EQUIPMENT & SPECIALIZATION

You may work with or around:

  • Food processing and packaging machinery
  • Smokehouse and stuffing line equipment
  • Industrial cleaning tools and materials
  • Carts, cages, and manual handling equipment
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE)

REQUIREMENTS

To qualify, you should have the following:

Education:

  • No specific degree or certification required

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in food production or a related field (required)

Skills & Qualities:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift/push up to 50 lbs
  • Good communication and basic math skills
  • Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced work environment

Language:

  • English (required for safety and communication)

WORKING CONDITIONS

You must be prepared to work under the following conditions:

  • Indoor factory environment with moderate noise levels
  • Standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
  • Working around machinery and food production areas
  • Following all safety and hygiene protocols
  • Morning shift hours: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
