JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Sales Assistant at Smokemart & GiftBox, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high levels of customer service and building rapport with each visitor
- Operating the register with sound cash handling and EFTPOS use
- Learning and maintaining product knowledge across all departments
- Merchandising, stock control, and upholding strong visual presentation standards
- Working towards store targets and KPIs
- Following WHS, security, and retail legislation guidelines
- Bringing a positive attitude, great energy, and a team mindset every shift

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Smokemart & GiftBox is seeking candidates who are:
- Customer-first thinkers with a passion for creating a fun retail experience
- Experienced in sales or customer service (preferred but not essential)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced retail environments
- Excellent communicators with a friendly and energetic personality
- Eager to meet and exceed sales targets
- Able to pass a valid Police Check if successful in the interview process
