RESPONSIBILITIES
Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Interpreting welding process specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications
- Operating manual, semi-automatic, fully automated, and robotic welding equipment
- Examining welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications
- Operating flame-cutting, oxygen arc cutting (AOC), and metal shaping equipment
- Performing fitting, brazing, soldering, and torch-straightening of metal
- Determining weldability of materials
- Operating CAD systems when required
- Maintaining and performing minor repairs on welding and cutting equipment
- Starting, adjusting, monitoring, and shutting down robotic welding production lines

Requirements
- Secondary school graduation certificate
