Summerset Whangarei is a premium, state-of-the-art care centre located within a beautiful established village, set to become a leading aged care destination in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Delivering meals and supporting residents during mealtimes
  • Assisting with hygiene tasks such as showering and grooming
  • Supporting individual care plans, including walks and prescribed exercises
  • Encouraging and participating in social and recreational activities
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to maintain a safe and positive environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in aged care or a similar care-focused role
  • Health and Wellbeing Certificate (where applicable)
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends
  • Commitment to a 4 days on / 2 days off roster
  • Ability to work a mix of morning and afternoon shifts
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
