Summerset Whangarei is a premium, state-of-the-art care centre located within a beautiful established village, set to become a leading aged care destination in the region.
Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Delivering meals and supporting residents during mealtimes
- Assisting with hygiene tasks such as showering and grooming
- Supporting individual care plans, including walks and prescribed exercises
- Encouraging and participating in social and recreational activities
- Working collaboratively with the care team to maintain a safe and positive environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar care-focused role
- Health and Wellbeing Certificate (where applicable)
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends
- Commitment to a 4 days on / 2 days off roster
- Ability to work a mix of morning and afternoon shifts
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
