ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Grain Harvest Worker, you will play a crucial part in supporting the receival and storage of South Australia’s grain crop. From September/October through February 2026, you’ll assist in the efficient operation of receival sites, ensuring the quality and safety of grain is maintained.
No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a supportive team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Grain Harvest Worker, your responsibilities may include:
- Grain Classification – Interacting with growers and assessing grain quality for grading
- Road Grid Operation – Operating plant equipment and directing grain into silos
- Bunker & Shed Receivals – Handling mobile receival equipment and managing grain flow
- Tarp Operations – Laying groundsheets and covering grain bunkers securely
- Processing Shed Work – Assisting with processing, bagging, packing, and hygiene tasks
- Site Hygiene – Cleaning, sweeping, and shovelling to ensure grain quality and site standards

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidates must have the following:
- Eligibility: Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid working visa holder
- Licence: Current driver’s licence preferred
- Team Player: Strong focus on safety and collaboration
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, sweeping, and shovelling
- Attitude: Positive, reliable, and willing to work long shifts outdoors
